Josh Rzepka is available as a private trumpet teacher, teaching students important fundamental ideas as well as establishing proper playing habits and technique so that they may succeed in playing the trumpet.

For classical students, fundamental skills will be learned and developed, while the student’s ear and theoretical knowledge are developed. Emphasis for classical students will be placed on proper playing habits, technical skills and musical expression.

For jazz students, fundamental jazz skills will be learned, while the student’s ear and theoretical knowledge are developed. Emphasis for jazz students will be placed on proper playing habits, proper jazz feel and articulation, as well as improvising.

Currently he is the trumpet teacher at the Avon School of Music, He is available in the Avon, Westlake, and surrounding areas through the Avon School of Music.

Josh is also the trumpet teacher at Firestone High School in Akron for the students in the VPA - visual and performing arts - program. Josh also teaches other students in the Akron area.

As a clinician Josh is available to come to your school , or musical organization to teach about the trumpet, and to provide an educational and motivational experience for your students. Josh is available to coach and lead brass sectionals for concert band, orchestra, big band or a small jazz ensemble.
